Captain Jack is back in the TARDIS for Tonight's the Night!

In true Captain Jack style, John Barrowman has been searching for an alien... But instead of the Torchwood team, he's been assisted by Denise van Outen and Doctor Who casting director, Andy Pryor. They've been judging the entries in a competition for John's BBC One show, Tonight's the Night, and their quest for the best is over!
The competition saw members of the public devise and dress up as an alien and long-time Doctor Who fan Tim Ingham was selected as the winner. His prize was to star in a scene in which his monstrous creation encounters Captain Jack. A delighted Tim described the experience as 'the pinnacle of my life so far'.
On the May 23rd show we finally get to see the scene, written by Executive Producer Russell T Davies and directed by Alice Troughton. Set in the TARDIS and of course, featuring John Barrowman as Captain Jack Harkness, it's a deft mixture of humour, drama and the unexpected!
There's also a sneak peek behind the scenes, looking at the recording of this special one-off and featuring Russell T Davies who briefly talks about his enduring passion for Doctor Who.
For those of you who can't wait for the return of Torchwood and Doctor Who, it's a fun foray into the world of Captain Jack. And in the world of Captain Jack, anything can happen...
We have a special preview of John Barrowman introducing the scene and straight after Tonight's the Night we'll have an exclusive feature on this must-see mini-adventure!

Tonight's the Night: Saturday at 7.20pm on BBC One
