Tennant returns to tackle Daleks

DAVID Tennant is preparing to do battle against the Daleks again in the third series of the revamped Doctor Who.
The Timelord and his new assistant Martha, who will be back in the spring, will battle it out against the psychotic robots in an episode based on 1930s New York.
In the first episode of the BBC One Wales sci-fi drama, the Doctor and Martha, who replaced Billie Piper, will meet aliens known as the Judoon.
"The Judoon are pretty extraordinary, they're sort of intergalactic storm-troopers who take Martha and I to the moon," said David.
"It's just part of the madness and brilliance of doing this show that it seems to keep bettering itself every time."
David is also excited about all the guest stars who'll be turning up when the series returns in March.
"Father Ted's Ardal O'Hanlon is in episode three and Mark Gatiss from The League of Gentlemen is in episode six - they just keep coming," he said.
But it's in episodes four and five that the Daleks return to haunt the Doctor in an art deco version of Manhattan.
Speaking on rumours that he is set to quit the show after this series, David added: "You shouldn't believe everything you read in the papers."
Tennant's commitment to the show comes as the Doctor is set to star alongside Dennis the Menace in the kids' Beano magazine.
A special Comic Relief edition sees the Doc and the Daleks encounter the Bash Street Kids with TV chef Jamie Oliver running the school canteen.
