Former 'Who' companion wants to return

Frazer Hines is keen to reprise his role as companion Jamie McCrimmon in the modern incarnation of Doctor Who.
The actor, who played the kilt-wearing Scotsman alongside Patrick Troughton between 1966 and 1969, told Doctor Who Magazine: "I just hope I get a call from the new Doctor Who producers, inviting me back. If Sarah Jane can do it, why can't Jamie?"
Hines, who last returned as Jamie in the 1985 story 'The Two Doctors', added: "They've got a young male Doctor now, and a young female assistant, so they need somebody like me for the grannies and the housewives!"
