Sean Pertwee is keen to follow in his father's footsteps and play the legendary Time Lord in Doctor Who, according to reports.The 43-year-old actor, the son of the late Jon Pertwee, told The Sun: “I’d definitely do it if I was asked and I’d definitely do something in the show such as a guest character.”The Event Horizon star also admitted that he drunkenly placed a bet on himself becoming the next occupant of the Tardis: “I went to the bookies after a few beers to put a £50 bet on myself, but the guy behind the counter said: ‘Who the f*** are you?" Jon Pertwee, who died in 1996, played the role of the Third Doctor for five seasons from 1970 to 1974, before being replaced by Tom Baker.
