LONDON (AFX) - International Greetings PLC said its unit Alligator Books Ltd has signed the 'creative play' licences for the Doctor Who television series and Rupert Bear cartoon from, respectively, BBC Worldwide and Entertainment Rights.
Financial details were not disclosed.
The creative play formats include products such as stickers and colouring sets, said International, a maker of greetings products and film and television character-based licensed stationery.
International said the new licences fit well with its existing stable, which includes Noddy, Thomas the Tank Engine, Postman Pat, Harry Potter and Spiderman.
